The Short Bio
Brad here. I’m the co-founder of EcoHuman Health. I’m also a husband, father, board-certified holistic health practitioner, author, student, teacher, outdoor adventurer, consciousness explorer, nature-based biohacker, mitochondriac, part-time dharma bum (2.0) and an EcoHuman.
That’s the long way of saying I love and live by diversity. I strongly believe diversity is the recipe for thriving. It seems these days, more than ever, we are expected to specialize. I tried. I can’t do it.
I’m not even sure it’s an actual genuine human trait. In my work life, educational life and personal life, I’ve done a lot of exploring. One thing about really exploring experientially is that is a really good way to learn first hand, which I believe is the best way to gain deep insights – often by making mistakes.
I have a couple degrees and a bunch of certifications if you want to know the formal part of my training but the true understanding has come from my experience – both working with clients and personal. In fact, often by making mistakes in my own healing journey, I’ve stumbled upon the biggest realizations.
That’s where you come in. My mistakes are your bounty. A big reason I’ve been drawn to this work is to help others to advocate for themselves and not simply accept subpar performance, dis-ease, or aging. No matter what anyone tells you, you have the potential to get more out of life.
I’ve dealt with a diagnosis of an autoimmune disease – Hashimoto’s hypothyroidism. I’ve broken my leg, my ribs, my fingers, and my hand. I’ve had surgery on the bones but I haven’t gone on meds for my thyroid. I’ve found other ways to function and actually thrive.
I have great energy levels, cognitive function, and strength. I am able to play and lift my children, even as they continue to grow. In fact, I believe I will pick them up all the way to adulthood. That’s progressive overload and a great way to keep building strength which can help prevent early aging. For more on this check out this article. I can also squat, ski, surf, stand-up paddleboard and really do anything I want.
You can too.
I am truly driven to help others find to not except age-related decline, drop as many medications as possible and really get the most out of life. If you know deep down that you’ve been written off as a statistic but still have more inside to squeeze life to its fullest than reach out. I get fired up by empowering others to live fully.
EcoHuman Health
Along the way, I’ve found that diet and exercise can only get you so far. That’s where EcoHuman Health comes in. For both the clients I’ve worked with, myself and Bree, we’ve seen that really engaging one’s inner and outer ecology is what is needed to function at the highest level, prevent diseases from arising and reverse stubborn illnesses. This website and our work are designed to take you beyond the kitchen and gym all the way to thriving.
To reaching your full potential,
